Ice Cream 4 sm. eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 qts. sweet milk
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar and mix well. Gradually add 2 quarts milk. Pour mixture into heavy saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil. Take off heat. Add vanilla and one quart milk. Pour into freezer container and freeze with hand or electric freezer.
