Peppermint Ice Cream

2 c Thin cream
Few grains salt
1/3 lb Peppermint candy
1 1/4 ts Vanilla

Pulverize candy. Dissolve in cream. Add flavoring and salt. Pour into freezer. Freeze. If desired, food coloring may be added. 4 servings.
